The Eucharistic Presence Of Christ:- Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph 1373: “Christ Jesus, who died , yes , who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand side of God, who indeed intercedes for us”, is present in many ways to his Church; (Rom 8:34; cf. LG 48) in his word, in his church’s prayer, “where two or three are gathered in my name”, (Mat. 18:20) in the poor, the sick, and the imprisoned ( Cf. Mt.25:31-46), in the sacraments of which he is the author, in the sacrifice of the Mass, and in the person of the minister. But “he is present …. Most especially in the Eucharistic species” (SC 7).
CCC 1418 : Because Christ himself is present in sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration. “ To visit the blessed sacrament is…a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord” ( Paul VI. MF 66 )
CCC 1380: “ The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease ”( John Paul II, Dominicae cenae,3)
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. (Ephesians 6.1)
